This book is based in an Elite school, which I imagine Lyecroft Phelps to be a building like Hogwart's. Although I am not the age group this book is aimed at I really enjoyed it and have recommended it to several people.
An incident happens at the school and we see how the Headmaster goes about concealing this from getting out so as to not spoil the school reputation but in doing so another side of the school is discovered. This includes secret societies that have been there since the school opened.
How will the group of friends get revenge and ensure it never happens again and how will they get enough evidence to be believed.
There are lots of characters in this book but I really enjoyed Max's story how he was a science need that ends up joining the cool group of rowers and taken into this world that he always hated. He changes during the book bit when it really matters his character is still decent.
