Cameron Kelly Rosenblum has written a contemporary novel about an exclusive boarding school. It is well written with many sub plots and nicely illustrated characters.
Charlotte (ballet choreographer) is with Seb (rowing team) and can’t believe it.
Quinn (artist) went to the summer ball with Colin Pearce (rowing team) and has not recovered from the experience of being badly assaulted by him.
Max (scholarship student) steps up to successfully cox the rowing team suddenly thrown into the limelight and inducted into an all boys fraternity with all the usual misogynistic boys games.
The novel explores the topics of masculine power and entitlement, recovering from trauma, friendship and overcoming your own fears.
Even though I’m well outside the age of the target audience, I enjoyed reading the book enormously. I can genuinely recommend it to other readers.
