This book reminded me of a Nordic, Frozen disney style with Irish folklore. I have never read any Irish folklore before so this was a refreshing and exciting introduction with a modern twist thrown in too. I am intrigued to know why the main character has been chosen to be at the centre of the plot to novel. I enjoyed her back story and felt a lot of children could relate. A wonderful story of escapism and adventure.
