That's a great cover, beautiful and mysterious. I was rather put off by all the unknown proper names in the first section which, together with long sentences, made it a difficult read. Then we moved into the mundane world which was tricky to date at first (cronies) but resolved into familiarity with mentions of climate change and mobile phones. Lastly, these two domains knitted together in a rare piece of storytelling which sent shivers down to my toes.
