The Silver Road by Sinéad O'Hart is a very well written and highly entertaining children's book full of magic, mythology and adventure. I absolutely loved the Irish folklore influences as well as the magic system in this book. I really liked the characters and thought they were incredibly well written. Sinéad O'Hart is definitely an author I would love to read more boos by. Despite the fact that this book is aimed at children, I really enjoyed it and therefore, I imagine that other adults will as well. I think it would make the perfect book for parents to read with their children.
The cover looks very magical and is absolutely perfect for this book. The colours are beautiful and I really love the font used for the title.
