This is such a great read I was really impressed with it, especially as I am typically not the targeted audience. I will be passing on copies to young people in my life. I thought the story was well written and I liked the characters and found them relatable. The story follows main characters Rose, Gracie and Nellie. Rose unhappy and struggling with life problems seeks comfort from her old friends who find themselves with the task of saving an ancient path being destroyed by Rose's fathers construction company. The story is magical and perfect for autumn cosy days at home. The novel is about our environment and family and how we treat people we love and how we cope with different circumstances. The story has great drama and emotional read at times. I found it a fun and engaging read and could picture myself there with the characters. I would definately recommend this book.
