I personally really enjoyed reading The Silver Road. Slow burner for me. Although I found it took a while to get to the climax of the story.
I was invested, and I found the Irish mythology was very interesting as I didn’t know anything about it. I did sometimes struggle to read the pronunciations of some words. Deeper into the book, I found there was many parts that surprised even me. Overall I would say I throughly enjoyed The Silver Road.
As it would probably not have been a book I’d picked up if I hadn’t won it here. I would suggest it to all my school friends and especially those readers that have an interest in fantasy and mythology. I have no heard of this author Sinead o’Hart before but I would look to read her again after this.
