This children's story was so good ! I absolutely loved it. I can see this being a classic children's novel of the future. It was magical and mystical and a really excellent story. It had class divide, climate change and other up to date topic's in but also a very magical part too. The magical part was wide ranging - from a gentle friendly magic to monster's and fighting. I loved the fact that Rosaleen ( the main character) ended up working alongside Emer- her bully and they defeated the evil and saved the country. I also liked the fact it was all done with nobody else knowing. The main character Rosaleen is really well written and you really feel invested in her and what happen's to her. I love the mythology of this novel too. I would definitely read more novel's by this author and really think this novel is going to become a children's classic
