Whilst not my normal genre of choice, I do completely understand that this is a popular one!
The seandraiocht - the Old Magic - isn't remembered like it once was. Its power is fading... What does this mean exactly? And how will we ever get to find out?
The main character of Rose is entrusted with a powerful stone that she has to guard. This was given to her by a Frost Giant. As this happens she is swept into an adventure that is full of danger as well as excitement.
The stone in question can be used for good or for evil. The depends entirely with the keeper of the stone. This leads Rose to discover the magic that runs through the whole of Ireland. A magic that is threaded together beneath the land: the Silver Road. But Silver Road as we know it is under attack. It’s now down to Rose to keep the stone from falling into the wrong hands and embark on a quest to find its true owner.
