"You've got to find me. You're the only one who can." As soon as I read those two sentences I was drawn into the story of Lelle's search for his missing daughter. You immediately get a sense of his obsession, desperation and guilt but at the same time have to admire his dogged determination to keep on searching. "Searching was the only thing that mattered." I also loved the atmosphere of isolation created by the descriptions of landscape, vast forests and empty roads. I'm also intrigued to find out more about Meja and her mother, Silje, and how their story will connect with Lelle's.
