This was an eerie almost haunting first impression, but one I really enjoyed.

In just a few pages Lelle's search for a lost daughter in the wilderness of the Silver road seems tragic but really gripped me right from the start. The whole mystery of what happened to her and why he is the only one still searching is good. As is the whole what's real, what isn't threads that are being hinted at as well.

I enjoyed this first impression. I'm not sure how the other parts with 2 different characters Melje and her mother are going to progress and join the main story but there was enough here for me to be interested in where it is headed.

My main criticism is actually on where the first impression has been selected as it cuts off mid sentence of page 28, and in quite a crude fashion, obviously not relating to the book itself or the quality of the story but seems a bit thoughtless by whoever choose it.
