A beautifully presented book, with a stricking cover, starts with a sad tale of Lelle who's lost his daughter and will stop at nothing to find her. You can feel the emotion in just the first few pages how sad he is yet, despite losing his wife in the process, continues the search. I also believe she's alive and am keen to find out what has happened to her.
This story is intertwined with another disturbing tale of Meja, a teenager who lives with her mentally ill mother. She has been moved around a lot and this is the last move, her mother promises. She has found a man to look after them in the same town as Lelle but she has now stopped her medication, I suspect Meja will have to pick up the pieces.
A well written narrative with plenty of emotion looking forward to finding out what has happened to Lina and how Meja is connected.
