Having just spent a little time reading the first look at this book, I just want to read on.
The cover draws your eye to the path and the dark colours and forest type terrain would suggest that the story may be a bit dark.
The first sentence of this book suggests that this author is extremely talented at setting the scene and making it easy for you to immerse yourself in the story, by using such incredibly descriptive language. I did get the impression that it may not be a quick read for me, that I would take my time over it to really take in the way that the environment is put across to you.
I really can’t wait until I can read this book in its entirety. Definitely would be keen to read more from this author!
