I have to admit I'm so late reviewing this. Normally if I get a review copy I read it straightaway - it's the right thing to do when sent a free copy - read it, review it, post about it before publication - that's the fair exchange. I'm not sure how this one slipped through the net of my usual routine, so apologies for that.
But I found this out and was really taken with the cover - it's a really striking image and totally in keeping with the setting of this book. It screams Scandi-Noir so it's the perfect cover for this. I love a good psychological read and watch lots of Scandi drama so I had high hopes for this but it just didn't live up to my expectations. It was okay and I enjoyed it but It won't stay with me now the final page is turned.
