The blurb for The Silver Road by Stina Jackson certainly grabbed my attention and the design and cover of the book is definitely excellent and eye catching however the book itself was a big disappointment and a lost opportunity.
The story begins with a father searching for his daughter who has been missing for three years and who has been driving up the road she was last seen on in he hope of hopefully finding out what happened to her.
However the story just felt too slow with minimal action and with none of the main characters particularly interesting or engaging and I found it a big struggle to continue to the end of the book.
Whilst this book wasn't one for me and one that I wouldn't recommend I am sure that it will appeal to others
