A beautifully crafted book about searching a Father for his Daughter and a young woman for a new life. Gripping, believable and well written characters draw you into their world and ensure you keep reading. I became immersed in the drama as it enfolded and really began to care about the protagonists. The writing style is eerie, suspenseful and haunting whilst remaining easy to read. The landscape and the setting are so well painted and described they almost become another character in the story. The plot line is enthralling and well thought out and develops at just the right pace to sustain your interest. This Novel was a memorable one for me and it remained with me long after I read the final page.
