From the moment I opened this book I knew I would love it. The book is split between 2 characters, the father of the missing girl who is stuck in a constant cycle of trying to find his daughter daily after 3 years of still searching, the other character a girl who has been moved to the area with her “mother” who is heading towards danger. And then later introduces a third character in Part II which I don’t want to give a spoiler to!
The writing is incredibly gripping, I had to force myself to put the book down so I could get some work done! It would make a great TV psychological thriller.
This book has been translated into English and you’d honestly never know. The only give away is the characters names in the book, which I must admit took a bit of getting used to as I couldn’t figure out how to pronounce them, but this doesn’t get in the way of its brilliance.
Would advise anyone to read this chilling novel. Best book I’ve read in a long time.
