As soon as I started reading the preview of this book, I was truly captivated by its enticing setting and eerie, autumnal feel; I love books that are set in Northern Europe, and I always find myself instantly drawn into the plot. The writing style is a perfect mix of both poetic language, gripping imagery and what I assume to be clever foreshadowing, which makes me genuinely want to carry on reading! From what I have read thus far, this book seems like the perfect late summer / autumnal read, perfect for snuggling up on a cold, dark evening, and getting completely lost in its spooky setting and interesting characters... I would absolutely love to win this book, as I really would like to know how the plot unfolds!
