I love reading books set in foreign countries and against the backdrop of Sweden emphasised the dark and hauntingly good plot!
Truly this The Silver Road is Scandi Noir at its best! As far as thrillers go, I think this is the first I ended up finishing with swollen eyes from crying so badly.
The way Stina Jackson writes really is brilliant. She knows exactly how to get a reader emotionally invested and her writing style is honestly god tier, I never read something so quickly.
Of course, that’s saying a lot because I read thrillers quite quickly because the nature of its genre obviously. But I feel that says a lot in this case because this novel was quite long!
I honestly cannot recommend this thriller enough, it’s definitely one of top thrillers I’ve read for summer 2019!
