I relatively enjoyed "The Silver Road", a dramatic and sensitive thriller about a man who has been searching for his missing daughter for three years, driving along one specific highway at night, knowing that is where she disappeared.
At the same time, a girl named Meja arrives in a small town, looking for a fresh start. Although the missing girl is not Meja grown up, their lives are linked, almost mirroring each other. Meja knows that something is wrong, that she must do something to save someone, but she is not sure where to go.
I felt that this was a relatively original premise and it played out well in its execution. I felt that this reminded me of a few great stories by Jo Nesbo. I highly recommend it.
