I loved it!!
I loved this book. It's a haunting and tragic but also beautiful. story. It follows a Sweedish teacher, Lelle, whose daughter went missing on The Silver Road. As well as, Meja, a girl whose mum is an alcoholic and just generally a bad parent. Their stories then come together in a haunting and tragic ending that's filled with unexpected turns.
Stina Jackson did amazingly at crafting the story and her writing as beautiful, it kept a strong mystery throughout and made the ending more shocking. It's an overall utterly beautiful book that keeps you wanting to read more. I also loved how this book deals with matters such as grief. It's definitely one of my new favourites. Also, the translator Susan Beard did an amazing job.
