I wasn't sure when I read the first few chapters of this, but somehow it drew me in and I couldn't put it down as I had to know how it concluded.
Lelle is the father of Lina, who disappeared three years before after he dropped her at the bus stop. In the following three years, he hasn't stopped looking for her and it has cost him his marriage and most of the friends he had. He spends the long summer nights driving the Silver Road and exploring every avenue along it to see if Lina is there.
Meja and her mother. Silje, have arrived in the village to live with Silje's new boyfriend in his isolated house. Meja meets Carl-Johan and finds he has everything she craves - a proper family life.
However things are not as they seem and another girl disappears almost to the day...…….
