This is my honest review of silver road. Which is a dark crime. This book is set in Sweden and is about a girl who went missing from the bus stop three years ago. She was never seen again but only one person knows her last sighting. We look into the father journey of finding his daughter and how he feels through this. A new girl moves into the neighbourhood and her mum which she has some drinking issues and has mental health problems. This story is based on someone going through grief and become so obsessed with the situation where he drives on the same road every night. The pressure start the affect those around him. This is not my type of genre but I’m glad I gave it a go. I like how not all books have to be fairytale or happy ending this book is different which makes it unique. Although I felt like I didn’t connect to the characters as they didn’t interest me.
