So when I first picked up “The Silver Road” I was really intrigued and excited. Firstly I thought the cover though simple was very captivating and beautiful. The synopsis drew me in enough to make me wanna try reading my first thriller which is quite outside my usual comfort zone. For me though this is where the positives end. This book for me was such a struggle to get through I had to keep picking it up and forcing myself to get further through the book. The first issue and my biggest one personal was the book’s pace, it is such a slow paced book that it really began to irritate me. I think this didn’t help that for me the character development for me was quite vague and nothing really I could hold on to with my attention.
