This book begins with the perspective of Lelle, a father and teacher, in search of his missing daughter. And Meja, a young seventeen year old girl, who had just arrived in town with her troubled mother, moving in with her mother's new partner.

The start definitely was intruguing, a thriller type story with a mystery to be solved straightaway. What I liked about this book in particular was Meja's story, and how it developed so creatively in revealing the mystery.

The writing was split between both characters perspectives, with no chapters. It worked well in some ways as the two stories are interwined together and flowed nicely but I would've perfered it otherwise.

The characters themselves were well developed. I was able to get a strong understanding of them, and a sense of their emotions.

In conclusion, it was an interesting thriller that I would recommend.
