The premise of this book sounds very interesting for lovers of epic historical fiction that teaches them about periods of history they know relatively little about. Although I like the cover of the book I’m not sure that the story is really for me. It sounds quite masculine and warmongering and I don’t think I would enjoy it. Good for some, but not really my thing.
