Going just off the cover of this book, it wouldn't usually be something I'd pick up as I'm not too interested in historical fiction. However after taking time to read the blurb, there is a mystery and murders involved in the plot and that instantly makes it more exciting (in my opinion).
Definitely supports the 'don't judge a book by it's cover' motto as I usually wouldn't have picked this up, but after reading the blurb it sounds exciting
