I do enjoy historical fiction, but I will be honest and say that I’ve always been very particular about what time period I read about. I think maybe branching out into other time periods and story types.
The writing style used here is fresh, and I think goes against the perception I had when I opened the first look - the cover is aged and I always believe the story will be dry and difficult but this was refreshing.
