I haven't heard of J.C. Harvey before but thus book sounds amazing. I am a huge fan of Kate Mosse's work so I am very interested to read the work of a different and new-to-me author.
As a fan of historical fiction, I would love to read this book. Given that it's set in various parts of Europe and involves secrecy and treachery it sounds like it would be a perfect winter's evening read.
