An epic read.I enjoyed the story and the history included in it.
Jack is the main character and at the start of the book the author goes back and forth describing Jacks early life and how he came to the point this point of his life.
We find out what the Silver wolf token means to him and why is wants revenge on his parents killer.
We also learn of his skills with animals and how handy he is with weapons.
The story also takes us through war and Jacks part in it all.
Lots of different characters to keep up with but the author has detailed these at the front of the book.
Toward the end of the book I felt that the author had lost their way a little and was a bit lazy in their writing.At the start of a couple of paragraphs the author used "meanwhile"this took me a while to grasp where the story was leading,this was the only downside of the story.
Overall I felt that this was an enjoyable read and maybe yes I would read books two and three etc just to find out if Jack got his satisfaction and contentment.
