From book cover its a definite read but after reading example i am unsure
I started the book with the impression it would be exciting, thrilling and dark. I found the layout of text didn't really flow and it did not engage me nor give me the impression this was a thrilling story. I did not learn anything about Erma the main character and as for Jenny..who is she? where is she? what happened? There was no background information to this character nor did I see a relationship link to Erma.
I like a psychological thriller story so would be happy to give this book a chance..
Basically from what I read the storyline started with Erma leaving Spain to go to her old workplace as someone had made a complaint. There were many names mentioned but one person had gone missing... and nothing more than that, nothing drawing me in or enticing me to read on if I am honest. The blurb mentioned Erma had had an attack on her life, been shot! There was no mention of this nor any clue or description that this occurred. Maybe it’s a really odd twist in the book. I would not go out to buy this book at full price but would be happy to give it a chance should I get the opportunity from this site.
