So the cover art of this book is a definite yes.
A mystery/thriller book? Hell yes.
However after reading the first look passage, I'm not too sure. It's obviously too early to say and the story could go either way.
I think for me though, there was too much going on in that first scene. I tend to enjoy books that set the scene gradually. But I do have a feeling our main protagonist Emma's life is something that'll be very interesting to read. I can already sense the chaos, so I know it's probably going to get better by the next couple of chapters.
So if I do get picked to read this book, it'll be really cool to see how this story progresses.
