So the first page didn't grab me but the second did!

I read the whole example and was gutted when it came to an end. I need to know what happens! The first page, I honestly thought this is not for me, just the style of writing but once I caught up in the story I was hooked. When the assistant dean whispered 'she was sleeping with her students' I was hooked!
