This was a brilliant first look. The first page instantly drew me in, blasting into action, with enough suspense and hints dropped in to keep me interested in the remainder of the novel. I liked the main character, however she did come off as a bit brusque, with a conflicting character impression. The cover, although not amazing, seems to fit the horror/mystery genre of the book.
