I got this book at 3pm on the Saturday and finished it at 2pm on the Sunday, after a full nights sleep. Fantastic. Really took me back to my childhood.
I have not been this excited about a book for a long time, I have read some great books but this one is so unusual. Definitely a marmite book - I love it.
My feelings for the main character swung in so many different directions and did not go where I thought they would.
The only thing I can say is do not pre-empt what you think might happen, you could never guess.
