When I received this book, I was excited and looking forward to losing myself in a new thriller that would keep me on the edge of my seat, with a little bit of fear mixed in.
Unfortunately, I found it a little difficult to get through the book, mainly as it was giving me what I hoped. I didn't feel that I lost myself to the story, the plot felt a little slow at times and sometime was a little bit on the boring side.
I really didn't gel with the main protagonist of the book, which is something I find difficult to overcome when trying to lose myself in a book. I did feel that I forced myself to finish this one, which was a shame as it did have quite a promising storyline.
However, despite this, I can see why others would enjoy this book and would still urge people to give it a go, but perhaps, if you find yourself in a similar situation to me, just don't persevere.
