This is my review or the book ‘The spiral’.
I was really looking forward to this book as i love a good thriller and the cover of this book with the eyes makes you think it is going to be scary. Then i read the blurb and though wow yes please this looks like a good story line.
Then i started reading the book. The first chapter was really good however it did move at quite a quick pace. You get to meet erma and it is written from her point of view. The main story line is about emra and her assistant/friend who tries to kill emra by shooting her and then turns the gun on her self and kills herself. After emra recovers from this and has had some time away to ‘fix’ herself she goes on a mission to try and find out why jenny did this.
Then the story takes a strange turn and in come sero?? This part is very stange it follows a quest type game like dungeons and dragons which i am really not into and do not get why it is in the book.
I think the story line is good but overall i did not enjoy this book unfortunately.
