I am not sure about this one. From the summary, it sounds just my type of book. I’m really into my post war time historical fiction at the minute. But I found this first read quite slow. It certainly didn’t grip me. But I could real see Belinda and feel her pain. Could be a good book to see her future after a hard start in life!
