The author truly has captured the rawness of the time period. Truly making the reader appreciate what they’ve got.
I loved the character, she seems to have real depth and strength that I hope will shine through as the book continues.
The character Butterfingers certainly made my skin crawl, but again very telling of the time period unfortunately.
