ooh I love these type of books - stories of how people came together after the war and began to rebuild their lives , not just their jobs but learning to live as a family again after loved ones returned from the fighting ...or changing the way family moves one for those who's relatives never made it back. This story is told after WWI and without knowing that in the not too distant future there would be WWII I can't wait to read about the girls in this story
