The subject of 1920 hardship is incredibly interesting and the cover shows the friendship between three girls who forge strong bonds as they live through many difficult times. It makes the reader feel the emotions, going through loss, grief, love and hope. I look forward to learning about the girls and their families. I really enjoy books which are part of a set as you can follow the characters along their journey.
