I like this type of book it follows an era we have long forgot. The hard times they lived in and the strong women that come through in the characters I really found humbling. The whole reality of poverty and times that were really hard. I loved the way the main character had mourned and felt she would never find Love again and the reader is willing her to find a new love and a better life. A good page turner. I like the way she looks to others and finds herself trying to help others but needing really to move on herself and start thinking about what she needs.you can turn the pages hoping she will find a better life and true love this is definitely my type of book. I love a happy ending and this doesn’t disappoint.
