I really wanted to be able to explore different genres more and read books that are not in my typical genre choice - however, this just isn't a genre that I can get into fully and that I enjoy reading throughout. The book itself wasn't bad, it is just my particular genre choice that meant I couldn't enjoy this type of book as much as I was hoping for and wanted to. Again, there was nothing wrong with the book itself - perfect for those who enjoy this genre, especially as there are many books with a similar idea - but for me I just couldn't get into it properly! Maybe one day I can go back and revisit this genre again and hope that reading at a different time may introduce me more to it in a more enjoyable way.
