A flighty bird and a hawk?
I studied the English Civil War at school and have since read several historical fiction novels covering that period, so I am pleased to come across a new one.
What appeals to me here is the female physician. Of course, the English Civil War predates the American one, where Elizabeth Blackwell made such an impact, by a couple of hundred years, so I'm intrigued by the heroine, and I hope what she will indeed be unforgettable.
