After reading the first look it straight away reminded me of a book that is a cross between something Kate Mosse would write and Philippa Gregory. It has an interesting female protagonist who appears to be a strong and interesting character. The English Civil War is a part of history which I have been reading a lot of lately so this would make for another compelling and exciting read.
