I found the cover and title of this book attractive. I have not read any ther books by Minnette Walters so I wasn't sure about her style of writing. However, I found the opening chapter absolutely gripping. The level of descriptive writing gives the reader a vivid picture of the events taking place. I can't wait to read more.
