I don’t tend to be drawn to historical fiction which is probably why I failed history but this book looks so good! It’s based on the civil law, it has maps which I think makes it easier to visualise and get into the story the chapters are fairly long, but when reading it doesn’t feel like they take long at all to read. Historical fiction books seem to relate to religion and this is no different this relates to catholic’s it definitely shows how times have changed from 1642 to now. We don’t know too much about the characters right now and there’s definitely a lot more to discover as the story goes on. The front cover looks interesting, it’s not one I would be drawn too in a book shop but after reading the first look it’s one I would love to read to find out what happens next.
