I'm intrigued, can't wait for this book

The First Impression had me gripped from the first few words. I love the idea that the main character is a woman physician, which was incredibly unusual for the time period in which the story is written. Jayne Swift seems like a strong character with a good moral character from which she doesn't seem to waiver. I can't wait to read this book, as it is about a period of history I know nothing about.
