The front cover is very simple with little going on and this means that I do not find it eye-catching or intriguing. However, I guessed right away from the cover that the book would be historical fiction so perhaps it is suitable for its target audience.
As someone who does not enjoy reading historical fiction, once I read "cold war", I struggled to take in the rest of the blurb. I even tried a few pages of the First impression as I was hoping that an interesting start might make me more interested in this book but I found myself simply skimming the words and not taking much in. On this account, I strongly think that this book is not for me and I would not enjoy reading it.
