I absolutely adore historical stories and this one was incredible. You can absolutely tell that the author has done extensive research about this time period and about British history, which managed to bring the story to life and really built a strong foundation for the character interactions and the overall happenings amd events that take place in this book.
I also learned a lot about the history myself, which I always regard as a plus point. Reading for fun and gaining knowledge at the same time, makes the book just that much more interesting and speaks volumes about the authors passion for that time period and of course, her love for the characters.
I am keeping my review very brief but I can very confidently and very safely say that I enjoyed this story and hope to find similar ones in the future. Please do pick this book up, you won't be disappointed!
